GLOBAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

Job Purpose

The prime responsibility of the role is to proactively develop business strategies across the regions which will drive profitable growth while increasing penetration in sales and demand creation, resulting in market share gain on a global basis. The ability to communicate effectively and negotiate the company's offerings to customers to position Future's value add, quote on business, and demonstrate the company’s full capabilities is essential.

What the role involves:
  1. Develop global strategy and implement site tactics in conjunction with branch personnel in each region to drive revenue and increase gross profit margin.
  2. Deeply understand customer needs and challenges, and formulate regional and branch strategies to foster growth. Build relationships with customer senior management through regular visits.
  3. Present Future’s value proposition with value-added solutions and corporate initiatives to enhance service capabilities at customer sites.
  4. Collaborate with management to set, implement, and monitor sales and margin budgets globally, aiming to increase market share at each location.
  5. Drive key supplier initiatives to ensure commitments are met.
  6. Provide high-level customer service, responding promptly to quotes, product availability, lead times, and delivery queries.
  7. Engage the Field Application Engineering team to capitalize on sell opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Proven sales success over the past five years in electronic distribution, with a degree in a technical or business field.
  • Understanding of technical teams, demonstrated by achieving design wins.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized, accurate, and able to work under pressure with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
