Job Purpose

The prime responsibility of the role is to proactively develop business strategies across the regions which will drive profitable growth while increasing penetration in Sales and Demand Creation performance, resulting in market share gain on a global basis. The ability to effectively communicate and negotiate the company's offerings to customers to position Future’s value add, quote on business, and demonstrate the company’s full capabilities is essential.

What the role involves:
  • Develop global strategy and implement site tactics in conjunction with branch personnel in each region to drive revenue and increase gross profit margin.
  • Understand customer needs and challenges; formulate strategies within regions and branches to foster growth. Build relationships with customer senior management through regular visits.
  • Present Future’s value proposition, including Value-Added Solutions and Corporate Initiatives, to enhance service capabilities at all customer sites.
  • Collaborate with management to set, implement, and monitor sales and margin budgets globally, aiming to increase market share at each location.
  • Drive key supplier initiatives to meet corporate commitments.
  • Provide high-level customer service, responding promptly to quotes, product availability, lead times, and delivery queries.
  • Engage the Field Application Engineering team to capitalize on sell opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Proven sales track record over five years in electronic distribution or related fields; educated to degree level, preferably with a technical or business background.
  • Understanding of technical teams and design achievements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized, accurate, able to work under pressure, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
