Job Purpose

The prime responsibility of the role is to proactively develop business strategies across the regions to drive profitable growth while increasing penetration in Sales and Demand Creation, resulting in market share gain on a global basis. Effective communication skills are essential to negotiate the company’s offerings to customers, position Future’s value add, and demonstrate the company’s full capabilities.

What the role involves:
  1. Develop global strategy and implement site tactics in conjunction with branch personnel in each geographical region to drive top-line revenue and increase gross profit margin.
  2. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges, formulate regional and branch strategies for growth, and build relationships with customer senior management through regular visits.
  3. Present Future’s value proposition by offering Value-Added Solutions and Corporate Initiatives, such as the Business Partner Programme, to enhance service capabilities at all customer sites.
  4. Work with branch and regional management to set, implement, and monitor sales and margin budgets globally, aiming to increase market share at each location and outperform industry and company growth projections.
  5. Drive key supplier initiatives outlined by marketing at each customer site to meet corporate commitments.
  6. Provide high-level customer service by responding promptly to quotes, product availability, lead times, and delivery queries.
  7. Engage the Field Application Engineering team to capitalize on sales opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Proven sales track record within the company or other electronic distribution business for at least five years; educational background to degree level, preferably with a technical or business focus.
  • Understanding of technical teams, demonstrated by achieving a set number of designs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized, accurate, able to work under pressure, and attentive to detail to achieve results.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
