GLOBAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

Job Purpose

The prime responsibility of the role is to proactively develop business strategies across the regions to drive profitable growth and increase penetration in Sales and Demand Creation, resulting in market share gain globally. Effective communication skills are essential to negotiate the company's offerings, demonstrate Future’s full capabilities, and position our value-add to customers.

What the role involves:
  1. Develop global strategy and implement site tactics with regional branch personnel to drive revenue and increase gross profit margin.
  2. Understand customer needs and challenges; formulate regional strategies; develop relationships with senior management through visits.
  3. Present Future’s value proposition with Value-Added Solutions and initiatives like the Business Partner Programme to enhance service capabilities.
  4. Work with management to set and monitor sales and margin budgets by site, aiming to outperform industry and growth projections.
  5. Drive supplier initiatives to meet corporate commitments.
  6. Provide high-level customer service regarding quotes, product availability, lead times, and delivery queries.
  7. Engage the Field Application Engineering team to capitalize on sell opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Proven sales track record over five years in electronics distribution; degree educated, preferably in technical or business fields.
  • Understanding of technical teams and design achievements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized, accurate, able to work under pressure, and detail-oriented.
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented.
