JOB PURPOSE

The prime responsibility of the role is to proactively develop business strategies across the regions which will drive profitable growth whilst increasing penetration in Sales and Demand Creation performance, resulting in market share gain on a global basis. The ability to communicate effectively to negotiate the company offering to the customer, to position Future’s value add, and to demonstrate the company’s full capabilities is essential.

What the roles involve:
  1. Develop global strategy and implement site tactics in conjunction with branch personnel in each geographical region to drive revenue and increase gross profit margin.
  2. Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges, formulating regional strategies to position Future for growth. Build relationships with customer senior management through regular visits to their sites.
  3. Present Future’s value proposition with Value-Added Solutions and Corporate Initiatives, such as the Business Partner Programme, to enhance service capabilities at all customer sites.
  4. Work with management to set, implement, and monitor sales and margin budgets globally, aiming to increase market share at each location.
  5. Drive key supplier initiatives to ensure commitments are achieved.
  6. Provide high-level customer service, responding promptly to quotes, product availability, lead times, and delivery queries.
  7. Engage the Field Application Engineering team to capitalize on sell opportunities.
Do you have:
  • Proven sales track record within the company or in electronic distribution, ideally over five years, with a degree in a technical or business field.
  • Understanding of technical team integration, with a record of achieving design wins.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and ability to work under pressure, achieving results.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
