Role description: Your role as Business Development Representative will encompass outbound B2B calling within your assigned territory and/or market, attaining, maintaining, and growing strategic relationships with executive and senior level decision makers at some of the largest companies in the world.

You will need to understand and identify customer needs and develop sales opportunities for our Fortune 500 clients.

Responsibilities
  1. Generate qualified sales opportunities in assigned companies through campaign-driven outbound calling against set KPIs.
  2. Identify and nurture potential sales leads to become fully qualified opportunities ready for handover to client sales/channel partners.
  3. Develop strong working relationships with client sales teams.
  4. Develop and maintain detailed knowledge of client’s business, products, and objectives.
  5. Develop sound understanding of competitor landscape and client’s USPs.
  6. Acquire key intelligence of potential prospect companies via telephone and research sources.
  7. Maintain an updated CRM database and a pipeline of prospects.
  8. Contribute valuable insights to our clients regarding campaigns, data quality, leads, and other qualitative factors.
Requirements
  • Mother tongue language: German.
  • Experience in telesales, customer service, help desk, and/or inside sales of at least 1 year (B2B experience is a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets/goals or other KPIs.
  • Experience working in a target-driven environment emphasizing customer satisfaction and quality.
  • Good working knowledge of the technology/business application industries.
  • Excellent written & spoken English (C2 Level), able to summarize conversations accurately and unambiguously.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Confident, polite, and friendly, with business acumen and negotiating skills, able to engage with high-level decision makers.
  • Sales-minded, business savvy, and customer-oriented.
  • Detail-oriented.
