RINA is currently recruiting for a Generative AI & Machine Learning Engineer to join its office in Rome / Genoa / Naples / Bari / Milan within the Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Division.

Mission

The mission of this role is to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge generative AI solutions on the Azure platform. The successful candidate will leverage Azure's AI tools and services to create innovative applications that drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Accountabilities

1. Solution Design & Development: Design and develop generative AI models and algorithms using Azure Cognitive Services, Azure OpenAI, and Azure Machine Learning.
2. AI Model Training: Fine-tune and optimize pre-built generative models or develop custom solutions for NLP, image generation, and other AI applications.
3. Cloud Integration: Implement end-to-end AI solutions, integrating them with existing cloud infrastructures and leveraging Azure services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Functions, and Azure DevOps.
4. Deployment & Monitoring: Deploy AI models in production environments, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance. Utilize Azure’s monitoring tools to track model performance and optimize for efficiency.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, cloud architects, and product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
6. Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends in AI and cloud technology, continuously improving and adapting the AI solutions to enhance business capabilities.

Qualifications

Proven +2 years experience as

1. Programming Languages: Advanced proficiency in Python, with experience in using AI/ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow).
2. Azure AI Services: Strong knowledge of Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, and Azure Machine Learning.
3. Cloud Architecture: Solid understanding of cloud architecture, especially within the Azure ecosystem (Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, Azure Kubernetes Services).
4. DevOps Practices: Experience with DevOps practices for AI deployment (CI/CD pipelines, containerization).
5. Generative Models: In-depth experience with models like GPT-4, Llama, including fine-tuning and customization.
6. NLP Techniques: Experience in natural language processing and text generation patterns.

Nice to Have:

1. Advanced Python Development: Knowledge of best practices, frameworks, and code optimization.
2. Teamwork: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
3. Problem Solving: Analytical skills to tackle complex issues.
4. Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate or similar certifications.
