We are looking for a Senior Data Scientist / Business Translator to join our AI Factory team. Your job will be to work closely with stakeholders, support them in understanding where artificial intelligence can improve their business and bridge the gap between needs coming from our functions and the delivery of Artificial Intelligence solutions. This role involves understanding the feasibility of requirements and mapping them to AI capabilities. The Senior Data Scientist will support the demand management of the AI team, ensuring that business objectives are met with innovative and effective AI solutions. Furthermore, she / he will foster the adoption of GenAI within the group. What you can expect from us

• Understanding roles, responsibilities and processes of business functions across the bank, to translate business needs into methodological solutions, ensuring alignment with the team strategy.
• Support business in going from idea generation to real use cases.
• Assess the feasibility of requirements, also leveraging quick prototyping, and map them to AI methodologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate AI methodology results
• Collect and measure feedback during the adoption phase of AI solutions, ensuring incremental improvements
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and GenAI methodologies.
• Lead methodology development and work closely with AI Engineers to develop and deploy custom AI solutions.

What we expect from you

• 5+ years of industry or research experience in data science or AI.
• At least 2 years of experience working with Generative AI (GenAI) technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of genAI and deep-learning libraries (e.g. LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, PyTorch).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, especially with non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in an agile environment.
• Experience in leading the delivery of technical teams.

Nice to have :

• Familiarity with cloud-native AI solutions for model development and AI services (Azure, Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in MLOps frameworks and best practices.
• Knowledge in object-oriented software development, particularly in Python.
• Experience in consultancy, customer engineering and fast prototyping
