For the opening of a new 5-star hotel in Lecce, we are looking for a General Manager.

As Hotel Director, you will oversee the daily operations of the hotel and provide leadership and strategic direction to all departments to support service culture, maximize operations, and ensure guest satisfaction. You will plan and supervise the activities of team members to ensure smooth and profitable business operations.

What will be your mission?

To oversee the hotel operations and lead the team towards excellence in service and profitability.

What will you do?
  • Analyze operations reports and manage hotel accounts, studying various parameters and their evolution.
  • Develop annual budgets based on commercial objectives, market conditions, and historical sales data.
  • Ensure costs and productivity are aligned with revenue performance.
  • Manage hotel commercial activities in collaboration with the commercial department, designing rate structures based on policy, occupancy, and market trends.
  • Identify commercial opportunities, engage with potential clients, and promote the hotel’s services through visits and presentations.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Revenue Management to maximize room revenue.
  • Implement corporate policies and projects in coordination with relevant departments (CRM & Loyalty, Marketing, Quality, Customer Experience).
  • Communicate with guests, addressing their needs and resolving issues.
  • Represent the hotel in community engagements and events.
  • Regularly inspect facilities and enforce health and safety standards.
  • Monitor and develop team performance through supervision, training, evaluations, and recognition.
  • Recruit, interview, and train new team members.
What are we looking for?
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a General Manager, preferably in a 5* hotel.
  • International experience and/or experience across multiple hotels is highly valued.
  • Degree or diploma in Business Administration, Hotel Management, or related field.
  • Knowledge of revenue management principles and commercial policies.
  • Proficiency with computer software (Microsoft Office, Front Office systems).
  • Fluency in the local language and a high level of English.
  • Results-oriented with attention to detail.
  • Strong commercial awareness and sales skills.
  • Excellent management and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
