We are recruiting for a

GENERAL MANAGER

for a 5* L Resort in Tuscany, a member of Leading Hotels of the World. The position reports to the Group Director of Operations for the entire chain and will be responsible for:

1. Driving and supporting motivation within the on-property team, many of whom have been working there for over 20 years.
2. Increasing revenues across all departments, with a key focus on Spa & Thermal areas as well as Food and Beverage.
3. Ensuring consistency and maintaining quality standards throughout the year.
4. Achieving the annual budget through the implementation of commercial strategies.
5. Working collaboratively with the wider leadership team, combining entrepreneurial spirit with team leadership.

Key requirements:

• Exceptional leadership skills with outstanding networking abilities. A true host and gentleman, crucial as over 45% of guests are repeat visitors.
• Strong experience in luxury hospitality and a refined sense of touch.
• Proven leadership and hands-on operational experience with excellent people management skills, driving employee engagement and delivering top-tier customer service.
• Extensive resort operational experience.
• Deep understanding of operational and, ideally, commercial functions.
• Strong entrepreneurial and financial acumen.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Significant experience within the Italian market.

Highly desirable skills and qualifications:

• Good knowledge of the spa and thermal markets.
• Prior experience in markets such as Russia, USA, or GCC.
• Proven track record in client negotiations and account strategizing.
