ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Note: The responsibilities listed are not all-inclusive and are subject to change at any time.

• Maintain fuel equipment by troubleshooting, repairing, cleaning, and maintaining gasoline dispensers and related equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and testing of fuel system(s). Maintain gas dispensers by changing nozzles, hoses, splashguards, filters, electronic circuit boards, and displays.
• Maintain and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment; perform preventive maintenance on these systems.
• Keep equipment, systems, and building ready for use by repairing doors, plumbing, floor tiles, painting, food service equipment, and other items inside and outside of stores.
• Maintain Point of Sale equipment, Frame Relay equipment, and safes through troubleshooting, repairing, and reprogramming.
• Work with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance of fueling equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following Circle K and OSHA procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Coordinate with Circle K Supervisors and external vendors for repairs and parts procurement.
• Document and communicate actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs to ensure team continuity.
• Participate in training for new and existing equipment.
• Contribute to team efforts by completing related tasks as needed.
• Ensure a safe working environment for employees and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years of experience in maintenance and/or telecommunications preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Manual dexterity to operate equipment and tools.
• Possess necessary basic hand tools.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Availability for after-hours on-call service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Ability to work independently in high-priority, confidential, and demanding settings.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Ability to crouch, crawl, push, pull, bend, stoop, and reach.
• Ability to carry, erect, and climb ladders.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
