Job Opportunity: Market Access Specialist

The role of the Market Access Specialist is centered around ensuring that gene therapies for rare diseases gain access to the market. This entails strategic planning, health economics, pricing and reimbursement.

You will report directly to the head of public affairs, providing support in the development and implementation of an optimal pricing and access strategy for Fondazione Telethon's gene therapy products for ultra-rare diseases. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the preparation of P&R dossier, as well as contributing to the definition of Health Economic/HTA/Outcomes and RWE research studies to support the clinical and economic value of medicines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support in the development and implementation of the optimal pricing & access strategy for Fondazione Telethon gene therapy products for ultra-rare diseases.
• Manage the preparation of P&R dossier.
• Contribute to the definition of Health Economic/HTA/Outcomes and RWE research studies to support the clinical and economic value of medicines.

Requirements:

• University Degree in Scientific, Economics, Political Science or Management.
• Previous experience in a similar role in pharmaceutical/biotech companies or consultancy firms.
• PhD, MBA or post degree in Health Economics/HTA is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Package (in particular Excel).
• Knowledge of HTA and P&R procedures.
• Strong analytic, digital and communication skills.
• Ability to research, digest, analyze and present material clearly and concisely.
• Languages: good command of written and spoken English.
