Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an AI Solutions Architect/Senior Data Scientist to design and govern secure, scalable AI and GenAI solutions for enterprise environments. You will lead end-to-end architectures, select models and ensure governance, security and observability across deployments.

Join a global team with hybrid working options across Milano, Napoli and other cities. The role demands senior expertise, strong English and Italian communication, and collaboration with business and tech

Qualifications

5+ years in solution/AI/architecture roles.
Experience delivering production-grade AI/ML/GenAI solutions.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Experience designing enterprise AI/ML/GenAI solutions.
Strong understanding of LLMs, RAG, AI agents and orchestration patterns.
Knowledge of AI security, governance and responsible AI principles.
Proficient communication and stakeholder management.
Fluency in Italian and English.

Responsibilities

Define end-to-end architectures for AI/GenAI solutions.
Design AI-enabled applications, agentic workflows and orchestration patterns.
Select suitable models, platforms, frameworks and integration approaches.
Establish standards for AI governance, security, responsible AI and compliance.
Guide engineering teams during implementation, integration and deployment.
Ensure AI solutions are observable, scalable, reliable and cost-aware.
Lead architecture reviews and communicate options and trade-offs to stakeholders.
