Job summary

Ebury Naples—Office based—seeks a visionary Head of Desk to lead an FX sales team, drive performance, and mentor staff. You will craft sales strategies, guide client onboarding, and close deals through direct engagement with prospects, ensuring sustainable growth and market leadership.

The role requires a proven track record in FX or cross-border finance, strong negotiation skills, and fluency in Italian and English.

Qualifications

• Track record of sales management within FX or cross-border financial services.
• Financial Services experience – a network would be an advantage.
• First-class communication skills.
• Ability to mentor, coach and develop people.
• Skilled negotiator with ability to build and leverage relationships at senior levels within SME customers.
• Native Italian and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Lead a sales team in developing prospects and closing deals by phone and face-to-face meetings.
• Provide accurate forecasting of expected sales volume.
• Develop and implement regional sales programs with the team.
• Recruit onboarding and training of new team members.
• Ensure adherence to sales methodology and processes.
