Job summary

Intesa Sanpaolo in Milan is seeking an experienced FX Derivatives Trader at Vice President level to join the FX Derivatives Trading team. You will price, trade and market-make across FX Options, covering G10 and/or Emerging Markets currencies, while contributing to risk management and franchise development.

The role demands 3–7 years of FX derivatives experience, strong knowledge of FX markets, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of FX derivatives trading experience in a bank or equivalent.
• Proven FX Options market making and risk management experience.
• Strong knowledge of G10 and/or Emerging Markets currencies.
• Understanding of pricing and risk management of plain-vanilla FX Options; exotic products valued.
• Ability to hedge option portfolios and manage Greeks-based risk.

Responsibilities

• Pricing, trading and market making across FX Options, covering G10 and/or Emerging Markets currencies.
• Managing market risk arising from market-making and client-driven activity.
• Managing positions across plain-vanilla and exotics.
• Providing competitive pricing and liquidity while optimizing risk/reward.
• Identifying and executing trading and hedging strategies based on market conditions and exposures.
• Collaborating with Sales to support client activity with pricing, views and trade ideas.
• Contributing to origination, assessment and structuring of new FX products and client solutions.
• Developing the FX Derivatives franchise through new initiatives and improvements to the offering.
• Collaborating with other Trading teams to optimize risk management and market coverage.
• Enhancing pricing models, trading tools, analytics and risk-management processes.
