It specializes in producing innovative and turn-key plants, such as hot and cold rolling mills for flat products, process lines, reheating furnaces, heat treatment lines, rolling mills for long products, meltshops, and continuous casting machines.

Our Center of Excellence "Flat Products" is looking for a

YOU ACT

• Coordinate Electric & Automation supplies for rolling mills and processing lines;
• Support sales project engineering, including preparing parts of the technical specifications;
• Participate in and lead meetings with customers, sub-suppliers, and consortium members;
• Manage technical systems (e.g., fluid systems), considering functions and interfaces with Electric & Automation;
• Manage standalone supply external to SMS, such as package units;
• Define machinery functional logics with mechanical department;
• Prepare basic engineering documents (motor/component lists, electromechanical functional descriptions, safety documents, clarification of motor and sensor types, electrical device location drawings), ensuring harmonization with mechanical, fluid, and civil engineering;
• Prepare technical documentation for purchasing, supplier selection, and interface management;
• Provide feedback of gained knowledge for sales and execution teams;
• Assist on-site during shipment, erection, and commissioning phases.

YOU KNOW

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with fundamental knowledge of Power supply, Drives, Motors, Sensors, and Automation Systems;
• Ability to read and understand fluid schematics and mechanical engineering drawings;
• Experience in sales and engineering of complex electrical and automation systems;
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
• Willingness to travel worldwide;
• Operational readiness, assertiveness, negotiation skills, teamwork ability, and a focus on price and cost management.
