Competenze

Functional Development & Support Expert - Logistics and Materials

We are hiring a Functional Development & Support Expert for our Milan offices.

The candidate will join the IT and Digital Systems Department, reporting directly to the Manager and the VP of IT and Digital Systems.

The role involves involvement in Business Intelligence and Performance Management activities within Italy and internationally, focusing on the Logistics & Materials area. The responsibilities include managing worldwide digitalization processes during both tendering and project execution phases.

We seek a candidate passionate about technology, with strong logic and problem-solving skills, capable of developing feasible solutions that balance technical effectiveness with economic efficiency.

Responsibilities :

• Gathering and analyzing functional requirements, writing technical specifications, and implementing solutions for corporate Business Applications.
• Managing system support and maintenance, especially during post-go-live phases of projects.
• Providing ongoing training to 'key users' in Italy and abroad to ensure proper use of technological solutions.
• Participating in the scouting and selection of technological partners (e.g., System Integrators, Developers) and managing their interfaces.

Requirements :

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunication, Mathematics, or related fields.
• At least 5-10 years of experience in developing advanced technological solutions, preferably in international project-based companies or medium-large consulting firms.
• Experience in logistics or supply chain projects related to industrial, construction, or Oil & Gas sectors.
• Professional knowledge of SAP MM, SD, and BTP tools.
• Experience with migration projects from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
