A leading cybersecurity firm in Italy is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to join their team. This role involves designing and implementing features while contributing to team success in a fast-paced, agile environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in programming languages such as Ruby, Golang, C++, or Python, and familiarity with PostgreSQL and networking. The position allows for ownership of user-facing features and emphasizes values of integrity and customer success.

Competenze

• Proven extensive experience in at least one of the programming languages: Ruby, Golang, C++ or Python.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and networking (TCP/IP, UDP) is highly valuable.
• Experience with Automated Testing (TDD, BDD) is a plus.
• Field experience with Agile methodologies is important.
• Ability to operate under strict confidentiality and data privacy.

Overview

Nozomi Networks is hiring a seasoned Software Engineer to join its expanding team. In this role, you\'ll design and implement features, help reduce tech debt, support team processes, and contribute to overall success in a fast-paced, agile environment. You\'ll also get to take ownership of user-facing features from inception to release. Key skills include strong software design, experience with algorithms and data structures, building scalable distributed systems, and familiarity with automated testing.

In this role you will

• Contribute to the development and design of our solutions
• Design and implement using available technologies whilst taking the initiative to learn new ones
• Design and implement medium to large size features while reducing the system\'s tech debt
• Proactively support colleagues to achieve overall team success
• Champion the team processes, ensuring everybody understands the benefits and tradeoffs
• Make a positive impact on the whole team

• Work in a fast-paced, agile environment

To be successful in this opportunity, you will have

• Proven extensive experience in at least one of the following languages: Ruby, Golang, C++ or Python
• PostgreSQL knowledge is highly valuable
