Our global podcast hosting network delivers more than 400 million listens per month across four continents, enabling more than 50 thousand podcast producers to get heard and create successful podcasts.

We're looking for a talented and passionate engineer to work on our platform and products. You'll work with our team of engineers to build, improve, maintain, and grow our Podcast Delivery Network, our Advertisement APIs, and other applications built mainly using event-driven Serverless technologies.

We are looking for talent to grow our core Delivery / AdTech Team: Part of the Triton Digital family, the team maintains and evolves our platform. Podcasting is a growing and competitive market. We strive to provide the best possible technological infrastructure to our customers, ranging from small independent creators to big media companies and other podcasting platforms, constantly improving and reacting to the market.

The team is mainly responsible for:

• Podcast Delivery Network, a globally used CDN with dynamic ad injection capabilities used by a wide range of publishers worldwide.
• Other supporting microservices, especially in the Advertisement Domain.

You will be expected to organize your time, plan your work, and be a team player. We expect you to take ownership of the systems you build, which means:

• You're responsible for the operational health of your services. The work isn't done just because the code is merged to master.
• You're empowered and encouraged to fix operational issues and ensure the technology powering our platform and products evolves with the industry.

Given the strict availability requirements of our content delivery platform, team members must participate in a weekly on-call rotation. To qualify for this position, you should meet the following essentials:

• Fluent in English (both verbal and written).
• Residency in Spain or Italy.
• Proven, long-term experience building applications with Node.js.
• Familiarity with build automation, TDD, and continuous integration.
• Experience with SQL databases and key-value data stores.
• Understanding of HTTP protocols.
• Knowledge of distributed systems and asynchronous architectures.
• Experience with instrumenting and monitoring applications in production.

Bonus points if you:

• Have built and operated services based on AWS Lambda and Serverless patterns.
• Have worked in the AdTech or Podcasting industry.
• Are familiar with Grafana / Prometheus.
• Have experience with DynamoDB and Redis.
• Are familiar with Docker and Github Actions.
