The Visual Agency is a data and information design agency specialized in communicating complexity and visualizing data. We use information design to unlock the storytelling power of data and turn numbers and words into meaningful visualizations, memorable insights, and engaging experiences.

We are a growing team of 25 people, including information designers, developers, illustrators, consultants, and motion-graphers. As a Fullstack Developer, you will be part of our Developer Team in Milan.

About the job

We are seeking a passionate Fullstack Developer capable of executing unique projects and building visually outstanding digital solutions. You will collaborate with a talented team of information designers, art directors, and other developers.

Your role will involve developing functional and visually compelling data visualization solutions and storytelling components.

What you will do

• Be part of a development team with professionals from diverse fields (Design, Statistics, Humanities).
• Analyze, organize, and structure data for visualization.
• Interface with stakeholders to find solutions for integrating our products.
• Organize weekly tasks and collaborate using tools like Github, Asana, Airtable, Slack.
• Learn and apply new libraries and techniques for interface and visualization development.
• Create interactive data visualizations and dashboards with intuitive, modern user interfaces.

Skills and experience

• Proficiency in Typescript.
• Experience with frontend frameworks/libraries (Vue, React, Angular).
• Knowledge of version control tools (Git/Github).
• Backend programming skills (Node.js, Python, etc.).
• Experience with Docker containers.
• Excellent spoken and written English skills.
