FULL TIME POSITION : Live-In Housekeeper Needed in Venice!

Private family in Venice, CA is seeking a dependable, trustworthy, and proactive live-in housekeeper to join their household. The position offers a private, fully equipped guest studio (ADU) with its own washer / dryer, kitchen, and separate entrance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, pet-friendly, and able to grow with the role as the family’s needs evolve, especially as they prepare to welcome a new baby in February 2026.

SCHEDULE : Monday–Friday 8 : 00 AM–8 : 00 PM, half day on Saturday, light Sunday morning dog walk (if possible)

• Monday–Friday : On duty from 8 : 00 AM–8 : 00 PM (not actively working every hour, but available as needed).

COMPENSATION :

Private furnished guest studio with kitchen, washer / dryer, and private entrance provided.

QUALIFICATIONS :

Prior experience as a housekeeper, house manager, or in a similar domestic support role.

Comfortable and experienced working with dogs, including large breeds.

Strong time management skills and ability to work independently.

Trustworthy, dependable, and respectful of household privacy.

Willingness to take on varied tasks and adapt to evolving household needs.

Basic cooking or meal prep skills a plus.

The live-in housekeeper will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and tidy home each day, with deeper cleaning managed by another housekeeper four times a week. Duties include assisting the household chef with breakfast preparation and cleaning up after meals, unloading groceries, and keeping the pantry, refrigerator, and kitchen well-organized. The role also involves making beds, ensuring all living spaces remain neat, and providing daily care for two dogs—an energetic 11-year-old Cocker Spaniel and a 5-year-old Newfoundland with allergies, which requires a special diet and baths three times per week. Additional tasks include light food preparation, occasional light cooking, organizing household spaces, handling laundry touch-ups, running small errands, and offering occasional childcare assistance for 1–2 hours as the baby grows older.
