Job summary

HID Global Secure Issuance is seeking a Junior Software Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term contract to develop, test, and maintain a web-based system that interfaces with external devices and services. You will work on ASP.NET Core/.NET backends and Angular frontends, implementing features, fixing defects, and assisting with testing to ensure reliability.

You will join a global team focused on secure identity solutions, engaging in code reviews, documentation, and collaborative delivery.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of C#/.NET and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Angular, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Experience with web app development and HTTP.
• Knowledge of Git.
• Willingness to perform manual testing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to the development and quality of a full-stack web application.
• Supporting integration with external systems and equipment.
• Designing, implementing, testing, and releasing new features.
• Performing manual and automated testing to validate changes.
