FAO seeks Information Technology Developers across various profiles for up to 11 months under a PSA/Consultant arrangement. Roles include web/mobile development, data engineering, and AI-focused work within the CSI Digital FAO and Agro-Informatics unit.

The incumbents will join an agile team, contribute to high-quality software products, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful IT solutions for FAO’s missions.

Competenze

• Advanced degree in computer science, data science or software engineering.
• Experience in IT development, data engineering or related fields.
• Proficiency in English (C1) with additional language desirables.

Mansioni

• Develop responsive web and mobile applications with modern front-end tech.
• Collaborate with backend teams and designers for cross-platform delivery.
• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines for analytics and AI.
• Create AI models/algorithms to address complex problems.
• Develop software across full lifecycle with quality assurance.
