Based in Parma, Henesis is an emerging innovation hub in Digital Health, Medical Devices, and Artificial Intelligence. With over 10 years of experience in R&D of Wearables, Brain-Computer Interfaces, and Rehabilitation technologies, we pride ourselves on a multidisciplinary team of software engineers, data scientists, and biomedical researchers driving high-impact projects. 3 different offices in Parma, Pisa or Padova.

The Role

Key Responsibilities

• System Architecture : Design modular, secure, and scalable full stack software solutions.
• Backend Development : Develop server-side logic using Python and the Django framework.
• Database Management : Design, manage, and optimize relational databases, primarily PostgreSQL.
• API Development : Create and document secure, efficient RESTful APIs.
• Testing & Debugging : Perform comprehensive unit and integration testing and debug across the entire stack.
• Team Collaboration : Work closely with UX / UI designers and cross-functional teams for seamless integration.
• Performance & Security : Ensure optimal performance and adherence to best security practices across all layers.

Requirements

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Experience : 4+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer in structured environments.
• Technical Expertise :
• Solid understanding of responsive design, RESTful API principles, and MVC architecture.
• Experience working in Agile teams and familiarity with CI / CD tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to code quality.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows in shared repositories.
• Commitment to application security, data protection, and compliance with industry standards.
