Longi Solar cerca un BESS Delivery & Service Manager / Engineer per gestire la consegna, il collaudo e il supporto post-vendita di progetti Commercial & Industrial Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).

La posizione prevede presa in carico dal passaggio contrattuale, pianificazione, coordinamento con EPC e fornitori, supervisione di installazione e integrazione EMS/BMS, e stretto contatto con i clienti per garantire prestazioni e qualità.

Competenze

• Laurea in Ingegneria Elettrica, Ingegneria della Potenza, Energia Rinnovabile o equivalente.
• 3–7 anni di esperienza in energia rinnovabile, BESS, solar + storage o power systems.
• Esperienza in progetti C&I energy storage o distribuiti richieste.
• Conoscenza dei componenti BESS: batterie, PCS/inverter, EMS/monitoring.
• Esperienza in delivery di progetti o field engineering.

Mansioni

• Gestire la consegna end-to-end di progetti BESS (C&I).
• Coordinare con EPC, installatori e subappaltatori.
• Garantire il rispetto di tempi, costi e standard di sicurezza/qualità.
• Supportare la messa in servizio e l’integrazione EMS/PCS/BMS.
• Lavorare con i team di ingegneria per risolvere problemi tecnici.

BESS Delivery & Service Manager / Engineer – C&I Projects

Position Overview

The BESS Delivery & Service Manager / Engineer (C&I) is responsible for the successful delivery, commissioning, and lifecycle support of Commercial & Industrial Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects after the project is secured by the sales and presales teams.

This role takes full ownership of the project from contract handover through installation, commissioning, and after-sales service , ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and according to technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Handover & Planning

• Take over BESS projects from the sales and presales teams after contract signing.
• Review technical proposals, system configurations, and commercial scope.
• Develop project execution plans including timelines, resource planning, and site coordination.
• Confirm system design and project requirements with internal teams and customers.

2. Project Delivery & Implementation

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of C&I BESS projects .
• Coordinate with EPC partners, installers, and subcontractors for system installation.
• Ensure project milestones are achieved according to schedule and budget.
• Monitor site work and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Manage equipment logistics, delivery, and installation activities.

3. Commissioning & System Integration

• Lead or support BESS commissioning activities , including:
• System functional testing
• EMS / PCS / BMS integration
• Grid connection and verification
• Work with engineering teams to resolve technical issues during commissioning.
• Ensure the system operates according to performance specifications.

4. Customer Support & After-Sales Service

• Provide technical support and service coordination after project commissioning.
• Manage maintenance schedules and service activities.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate with OEMs or suppliers if needed.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure customer satisfaction.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare project documentation including:
• Commissioning reports
• As-built documentation
• Operation and maintenance manuals
• Track project progress and provide regular internal updates.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, Renewable Energy , or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in renewable energy, BESS, solar + storage, or power systems. xysqume
• Experience in C&I energy storage or distributed energy projects preferred.
• Understanding of BESS components including:
• Battery systems
• PCS / inverters
• EMS / monitoring systems
• Experience in project delivery or field engineering .
