Frontend Team Lead

Location: Remote (Company based in Italy)

We're Hiring: Frontend Team Lead

Remote | Full-Time (40–60 hrs/week) | Work from Anywhere

We’re looking for a Frontend Team Lead who’s ready to elevate our platform’s frontend experience and lead a team of skilled engineers in building delightful and high-performing user interfaces.

What You’ll Do

Leadership & Mentorship

• Lead and mentor a team of frontend developers, promoting code quality and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews, share knowledge, and support team growth.
• Set technical direction and ensure clear task ownership and timely feedback.
  
  

Frontend Engineering

• Craft scalable and performant front-end solutions using NuxtJS/VueJS.
• Build and document reusable UI components via Storybook.
  
  

Quality Assurance & Testing

• Implement and maintain end-to-end testing using tools like Cypress or Playwright.
• Use visual regression tools such as Chromatic or Applitools to catch UI inconsistencies.
• Foster a test-driven mindset and high QA standards.
  
  

UI/UX Collaboration

• Work closely with designers and backend teams to ensure seamless product delivery.
• Focus on accessibility, responsive design, and high-quality user experiences.
  
  

Performance & Scalability

• Optimize frontend performance for fast and smooth user interactions.
• Continuously assess and improve scalability and maintainability.
  
  

Version Control & CI/CD

• Use Git and branching strategies to manage clean code workflows.
• Ensure smooth delivery via CI/CD pipelines.
  
  

Agile Workflow

• Work within sprint-based development using ClickUp.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and roadmap alignment.

• Experienced frontend engineers with team leadership experience.
• Strong in NuxtJS, VueJS, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, and CSS.
• Familiar with modern testing tools (Cypress, Playwright, Chromatic, Applitools).
• Effective communicators and collaborators in remote, multicultural teams.
• Passionate about clean, scalable code and user-focused design.

Step 2: Technical Challenge

Shortlisted candidates will complete a 2-part challenge focused on frontend architecture and modular component design using Nuxt 3. It’s designed to evaluate your ability to build reusable UI systems, structure scalable applications, and communicate your technical decisions clearly.

Bonus Points For

• Flutter experience (we're building the mobile app soon!)
