Job summary

KPMG Advisory S.p.A. in Italy (Turin) is seeking a Frontend Developer to design and implement high-quality web and mobile applications.

You will collaborate with UX/UI designers to build accessible, performant interfaces and integrate backend REST APIs within Agile teams. Required are a STEM degree and 2-3 years of frontend experience, with proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, and knowledge of Angular, React or Vue.js.

Qualifications

• Master’s (or bachelor’s) degree in STEM disciplines, computer engineering, IT, or another relevant field.
• 2-3 years of Frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5 and modern CSS.
• Experience with at least one major frontend framework (Angular, React or Vue.js).
• Mobile development experience using Ionic and/or Flutter is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality, performant Web Applications and Mobile Apps.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate mockups into functional code.
• Integrate REST APIs from backend systems.
• Create dashboards, data visualisation and graphical components for BI solutions.

Specifically, you will join our Lighthouse team in Turin.

Lighthouse is the KPMG Advisory centre of excellence delivering an array of Data & Analytics solutions.

You will be tasked with providing cutting-edge technology solutions, including algorithms, business intelligence, data visualisation, advanced analytics, process mining and machine learning technologies to improve human decision making.

Specifically, you will work on innovative technologies and on challenging and exciting projects, supporting our clients mainly in the following areas:

development of high-quality, performant and responsive Web Applications and Mobile Apps;

development of modern, accessible and User Experience-oriented interfaces;

close collaboration with UX/UI designers to translate mockups and requirements into functional code;

efficient integration of REST APIs provided by backend systems;

implementation of dashboards, data visualisation and graphical components supporting Business Intelligence solutions;

development of reusable and scalable frontend components;

focus on client-side performance, code quality and solution maintainability;

use of authentication and security technologies such as OAuth2 and JWT;

collaboration with backend, data and design teams within Agile environments.

Come As You Are - Your skills and characteristics

This is the perfect opportunity for you if:

You hold a master’s (or bachelor’s) degree in STEM disciplines, computer engineering, IT, or another relevant field;

You have 2-3 years of experience in Frontend development, preferably in complex project environments;

You have experience with at least one of the main modern frontend frameworks, such as Angular, React or Vue.js;

You have experience in mobile development using technologies such as Ionic and/or Flutter;

You have strong proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5 and modern CSS;

You have experience with CSS preprocessors and frameworks such as SASS and/or Tailwind CSS;

You have knowledge of REST APIs and key authentication protocols and standards, such as OAuth2 and JWT;

You have basic knowledge of Docker;

You have an understanding of User Experience, web performance, accessibility and responsive design;

You have a good command of the English language, preferably with study and/or work experience abroad.

Standard employment contract under the collective labour agreement for the commerce sector, with a gross annual salary ranging from €31,000 to €41,000. The salary is determined on the basis of objective criteria, including the candidate’s skills and experience assessed against the requirements of the role.
