REMEMBER : Before applying, you must inform your direct supervisor and/or Hotel Director, and your HR manager of your interest in participating in the internal selection process. Your line manager will not have the authority to authorize or halt your application, but must be properly informed.

Mission of the role : To properly manage all activities related to the Front Office Department.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Check-in and check-out hotel guests in a timely and professional manner.
  2. Process all payments according to established procedures.
  3. Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner.
  4. Register guests, issue room keys, and provide information on hotel services and room location.
  5. Upsell rooms when possible to maximize hotel revenue.
  6. Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures.
  7. Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up.
  8. Respond appropriately to guest complaints.
  9. Make appropriate service recovery gestures to ensure total guest satisfaction.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Fluency in English; other languages are preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role within a hotel or resort environment.
  • A passion for hospitality and strong interpersonal skills.
