We are looking for a determined, detail-oriented receptionist to join our team at the brand new Hampton by Hilton Venice Isola Nuova.

Position Overview:

As the Front Office Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, playing a crucial role in ensuring their stay is pleasant and comfortable. You will be expected to handle check-in and check-out, manage reservations, and provide information about the hotel and the area. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly attitude and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression.
  • Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently and accurately.
  • Handle guest questions and requests in person and over the phone.
  • Manage reservations, including changes and cancellations, using the hotel's property management system.
  • Provide information on hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Perform necessary administrative tasks, including billing and cash handling.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; training in hospitality or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a front office or customer service role, preferably in a hotel.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer proficiency and experience with property management systems (PMS) preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays and overnight shifts.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Positive attitude and passion for hospitality.
  • Good communication skills in Italian and English, other languages are a plus.
