About Aethos Monterosa
In the middle of the Aosta Valley, below the Monte Rosa and Cervino glaciers, lies Aethos Monterosa – a 30-room five-star active luxury resort featuring two F&B outlets, a SPA, and its own climbing and ice climbing wall. We are expanding the property with 20 additional rooms and are looking for an outstanding team to join us for the upcoming summer season.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
- Providing a warm and welcoming experience for guests
- Assisting guests with check-in, check-out, and inquiries
- Resolving guest concerns or issues with a positive and helpful attitude
- Answering phone calls and responding to emails promptly and professionally
- Communicating hotel policies, amenities, and services to guests
- Handling multiple tasks simultaneously, such as answering phones, assisting guests, and processing reservations
- Balancing various responsibilities during busy periods
- Managing reservations and room assignments accurately
- Ensuring all guest information and preferences are recorded correctly
- Maintaining a neat and organized front desk area
- Promoting additional services, upgrades, and special offers to guests
- Maximizing revenue opportunities through suggestive selling techniques
- Administrative activities such as reservation acceptance and entry in the PMS, cash register/credit card accounting as well as general office activities
- CRM Maintenance
- Porter / Concierge activities
- Invoicing
Core Competencies
- Fluent in English & Italian is a must
- 2+ years of hospitality experience
- Capable of creating a passionate, friendly, and high thriving work environment
- Collaborative and communicates well to provide direction/delegation to accomplish tasks at hand efficiently
- Must be a natural host and passionate about the hospitality industry in general
- Research, organizational skills, and extraordinary relationship-building skills
- Ability to multitask and execute under pressure and in demanding fast-paced environments
- Strong communication (both written and oral) and management skills. Communicate with hosts and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner
- Must be able to prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines
- Flexible schedule - long hours and regular evening event coverage is common
- Ability to make thoughtful decisions and give constructive criticism
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests
- Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality of guests, employees, and information
- Maintains regular attendance in compliance with Aethos Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel
- Comply with Aethos Hotel Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations
- Maximizes efforts towards productivity, identifies problem areas, and assists in implementing solutions
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times, whilst remaining genuine
