Job Description - Front Office Agent (HOT0BLMG)

A Front Office Agent participates in daily Front Office operations, working with customers and guests to demonstrate skills in hotel management.

What will I be doing?

  • Ensure accurate and efficient reception operations, including check-in / out procedures
  • Respond promptly to guest queries
  • Keep the Front Office Manager and Supervisors informed of guest feedback and departmental updates
  • Provide high-level customer service at all times
  • Understand hotel room categories, rates, packages, and promotions
  • Maximize occupancy through up-selling hotel services and facilities
  • Handle foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash according to hotel policies
  • Answer switchboard calls as needed
  • Manage guest deliveries and messages efficiently
  • Follow fire, health, and safety regulations and procedures
  • Operate front of house equipment and property management systems appropriately
  • Attend required training courses
  • Adhere to company brand standards
  • Assist other departments and maintain good team relationships
