Do you want to help change the way people solve the most challenging real-world design problems in their fields by building advanced tools using Computational Science and Artificial Intelligence?

Byte-Code SpA is looking for exceptional talent to help its Canadian team Augmenta to develop its first product and deliver it to market.

The role

We’re looking for front-end engineers to join our team at Augmenta. You'll work with our designers for building the ‘client-side’ of our web application. You will be responsible for building UX components and an interactive 3D environment.

What you will do

1. Developing new user-facing features using React.js
2. Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
3. Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
4. Optimizing components for maximum performance
5. Building and managing 3D elements using ThreeJS integrated with React.js
6. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including designers, application engineers, and software engineers in multiple locations.

About You

1. Bachelor's degree (M.Sc. preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
3. Extensive knowledge of React.js, JSX, Redux, data structures, and algorithms
4. Experience with 3D frameworks (such as ThreeJs and React-three-fiber)
5. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
6. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
7. Familiarity with code versioning tools (such as Git)
8. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

1. Experience with C# Windows applications
2. Experience with protobuf
3. Experience in API design, component architectures, principles of service-oriented software.
4. Experience using automated testing and continuous integration frameworks.
5. Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for container orchestration.
