E80 Group radically changed the internal logistics systems of factories by creating the first fully automated and integrated factory over twenty years ago: Factory 4.0. Thanks to its experience and competence in the field of production process automation, it has a unique hardware and software know−how.

SM.I.LE80 Smart Integrated Logistics software platform is "the brain" within the Elettric80 offering and ecosystem, providing real-time monitoring & controlling of the integrated robots and autonomous vehicles (AGV/LGV), bidirectional communication with the customer ERP, and optimization of plant throughput.

Position

We are looking for a senior software engineer who can actively and effectively contribute to the evolution of the SM.I.LE80 product, bringing in experience and a willingness to learn about the unique blend of robotics, software engineering, automation, and networking we have. Responsibilities

• Contribute to software design, development, and testing activities, including CI/CD integration.
• Participate in architecture evolution discussions. Help define technology selection, architecture, and planning activities.
• Collaborate with engineers, scrum masters, and product owners to deliver value to our customers.
• Help build and maintain a holistic view of the system.
• Document requirements and specifications effectively.

Required Skills

• Master's Degree in software/computer science engineering or equivalent.
• 5−10 years of experience in software engineering.
• Proven experience with software design, OOD, DDD, TDD methodologies.
• At least 5 years of experience with Javascript/Typescript stack and ecosystem, including transpilers, module systems, task runners, CSS/SCSS, HTML5, etc.
• Over 2 years of hands-on experience with Angular/AngularJS framework.
• Experience creating interactive visualizations with Babylon.js, PlayCanvas, or Three.js.
• Experience with unit testing tools such as Cypress.
• Hands-on experience with Git & Git-flow.
• Fluent in English.
