Job summary

Capco is seeking engineers to advance the evolution of the Financial Services industry by delivering modern cloud-based platforms through Agile practices. You will join a team that values collaboration, fast learning, and delivering robust software for major banks.

Qualifications

• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript experience (ES5/ES2017) including React/Angular/Vue
• CSS exposure with responsive design; SASS/LESS frameworks
• Security: OAuth2, OpenID Connect & JWT; secure coding practices
• Asynchronous requests, partial page updates and AJAX
• State management tools: Redux/Flux/MobX
• Experience configuring task runners: Webpack/Grunt
• Testing frameworks: Mocha/Jasmine/Jest/Enzyme
• Containerised apps in CI/CD pipelines
• Experience mentoring junior developers
• Knowledge of cloud concepts and design considerations

Responsibilities

• Deliver modern, cloud-based platforms using best-in-class Agile practices
• Collaborate effectively as a strong team player on complex financial services projects
• Coach and mentor junior developers to raise technical capability

Role Description:

We are looking for engineers who want to play a key part in supporting the evolution of the Financial Services industry one project at a time. You will be expected to be a strong team player who prides themselves on delivering modern, first-class cloud based platforms through practicing best in class Agile ways of working at all times.

Skills and Experience

• Exceptional JavaScript/TypeScript experience: ES5, ES6,ES2017, React (preferred) / Angular / Vue / Svelte
• CSS: exposure to SASS/LESS, frameworks: Bootstrap, SemanticUI, MaterialUI and Responsive design - CSS Grid/Flexbox
• Security standards: OAuth2, OpenID Connect & JWT
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• At least one state management tool - Redux (preferred) / Flux / MobX
• Experience using and configuring task runners - Webpack(preferred) / Grunt
• Testing framework: Mocha / Jasmine / Chai / Jest / Enzyme
• Experience deploying containerised applications in CI/CD pipelines
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior developers
• Exceptional understanding of debugging and resolving application issues
• Knowledge of cloud concepts, capabilities, and design considerations
• Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience in Security technologies, protocols & techniques (e.g. TLS, OAuth, Encryption, Networks

Pay Transparency

Capco is committed to providing fair and equitable compensation to our people. Our compensation policies are designed to allow our people to progress through our defined salary range over time as they progress in their role.

The minimum gross annual base salary for this position is from €29.000. The final offer could be higher to reflect the candidate's experience, skills, and overall fit for the role.

Additionally, this position may also be eligible to receive a discretionary/variable bonus payment.
