  • RECEPTIONIST - JOB DESCRIPTION
  • WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • The receptionist works closely with the Front Office Manager to ensure that guests have an exceptional experience during their stay at the hotel.
  • The receptionist handles many of the day-to-day tasks involved in running a hotel.
  • They may also be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk, resolving guest complaints or concerns.
  • Must be familiar with customer service best practices, able to think quickly on their feet, work well under pressure, and handle difficult situations.
  • Works closely with the front office manager to ensure smooth front desk operations and the ability to multitask under stress.
  • RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure the efficient running of the reception according to the hotel’s policies and procedures.
  • Handle the company’s finances, including reconciling accounts and processing payroll.
  • Manage direct bookings and OTAs
  • Answer questions about hotel policies, room availability, and other customer service issues.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions about hotel amenities and services, making reservations, and assisting with guest problems.
  • Coordinate special events such as weddings or villa rentals in conjunction with the Front Office Manager.
  • Assist the manager with administrative tasks such as payroll processing, accounting, and bookkeeping.
  • Maintain records of customer information, preferences, and interactions.
