Tesco is hiring a Customer Delivery Driver for Hemel Hempstead. You will be the face of Tesco on the road, delivering great service with a smile while driving and interacting with customers at their homes.

The role is hands-on and varied, with shifts that fit around customers and store needs. A valid driving licence, a friendly manner, and flexibility to work a range of hours are essential to help ensure every delivery is completed smoothly.

Competenze

• Must hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
• Be warm and welcoming with customers and colleagues.
• Respond quickly to changing customer needs and embrace change while on the road and in-store.

Mansioni

• Keep the van, trays and work area clean, tidy and organised so every customer receives their shopping in perfect condition.
• Load the van safely and complete checks to ensure it’s roadworthy and reliable.
• Explain order changes, substitutions or short-dated items in a friendly way and process refunds where needed to keep the experience smooth.
• Handle products with care and treat every order as if it were your own to maintain quality and trust.
• Deliver within the customer’s time slot, providing warm, natural service at the doorstep and ensuring customers feel valued.
