A leading creative agency based in Milan is seeking a Freelance Packaging Designer to support the development of innovative packaging solutions. This project-based role requires expertise in packaging design, aesthetic sensibility, and the ability to work within defined creative frameworks to create visually compelling outputs.

• Proven experience in packaging design across fashion, beauty, lifestyle or cultural projects.
• Strong visual and material culture.
• Solid understanding of printing processes, materials, and finishes.

Job Description

We are looking for afreelance packaging designerto support the development ofvisual and structural packaging solutionsfor an ongoing project. The collaboration will beproject-based, with a clear creative direction already defined, and focused ontranslating identity and concept into tangible packaging outputs.

We’re looking for someone who combinesaesthetic sensibility, material culture and feasibility, precision, with the ability to work within existing creative frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Developpackaging conceptsin line with a defined brand world
• Design dielines, labels, wraps, and structural forms
• Selectmaterials, finishes, and printing techniquessuitable for the project
• Collaborate with the internal team to ensure coherence with the visual identity
• Prepare final files for production and support prototyping if needed

Requirements

• Proven experience inpackaging designacross fashion, beauty, lifestyle or cultural projects
• Strong visual and material culture
• Solid understanding ofprinting processes, materials, and finishes
• Ability to translate concepts intocoherent, elegant, and effective physical formats
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
• Precision, autonomy, and production sensibility

Nice to Have

• Experience with luxury or artisanal product packaging
• Familiarity with sustainability-focused materials and solutions
• Interest in storytelling through object and tactile language
