A creative studio in Milan is seeking Freelance Art Designers to join their in-house Creative team. Candidates must have outstanding visual design skills and 5+ years of experience. You will be responsible for creating strong visual designs and collaborating with copywriters and art directors. Proficiency in Adobe packages is a must, along with a keen eye for detail. This role requires on-site work in Milan.

Overview

We are sourcing a talent pool of Freelance Art Designers to support our in-house Creative team in Milan.

We look for Art Designers with outstanding visual design skills and aesthetics, as well as the ability to produce stellar mock-ups working with Copywriters and Art Directors to visualize ideas into visuals, videos, illustrations proposals.

Reporting to the Senior Art Director and the Copy Director will be largely involved in the conception and executions of visuals on a wide variety of projects.

We look for Art Designers with visual, graphic and animation design skills, as well as the ability to produce mock-ups, 3d, animations and illustrations. We do require that freelancers work on-site with our Creative team in Milan, so you must be Milan-based.

Responsibilities

• Create strong visual designs based on given criteria
• Following a brief from developing concepts from sketch and mood board phase.
• Work on graphic design projects with Senior Art Directors (branding, deck typesetting, editorials, books, internal documents)
• Creating and delivering presentations and campaign layout to the highest standard.
• Evaluate and adapt designs based on feedback provided
• Conceptualize ideas and generate content from a variety of ideas
• Understand characteristics of target audience and find effective ways to reach them

Requirements

• Milan based and freelancers only
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• In depth knowledge of all the Adobe packages, Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, After effect, Premier and 3d Programs
• Any knowledge of video editing / animation software is a big plus
• Experience of conception and execution of a range of creative projects including physical, digital and motion.
• Strong photographic aesthetic and discerning eye for detail.
• Creative, originality and a strong artistic sense.
• Excellent research and connecting skills.
• Awareness of current creative trends and innovations.
• Demonstrated ability to create effective designs
