Job Opportunity: Technical Sales Engineer / Product Sales Engineer

We are one of the world's largest independent electronic component distributors, operating with a hybrid semiconductor distribution model. We have recently launched Nuvonix by Rebound, a new franchise distribution service, focusing on emerging brands and manufacturers, offering many opportunities for career growth.

We are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer / Product Sales Engineer within our Semiconductor Franchised Division. This role involves promoting franchise brands by emphasizing technical capability, cost reduction, and supply chain risk management. Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, you will engage with new and existing customers to secure high-value, design-led projects across our growing line card of franchise distribution brands globally.

The role includes working with a diverse range of customers to understand their product design prospects, development roadmaps, and project opportunities. Collaborating with our commercial, technical, operations, and product teams, you will promote and sell our partner semiconductor, discrete, passive, and other products.

Responsibilities:
  1. Drive revenue growth in key customers to meet regional revenue and margin targets.
  2. Develop strategic partnerships with customers to achieve business goals.
  3. Engage with customer engineering and component teams to specify, design, and generate demand for franchise products.
  4. Create new customer accounts through lead identification, planning, relationship building, and managing sales from design to order fulfillment.
  5. Understand business challenges and market trends to recommend suitable products and services.
  6. Present technical and commercial proposals to customers.
  7. Conduct regular business reviews with franchise partners and customers.
  8. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Prerequisites and Skills:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Electronics.
  2. Knowledge of electronic components technology.
  3. Strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in English (verbal and written), and Chinese is a plus.
  4. Strategic selling approach and business acumen.
  5. Proactive, inquisitive, flexible, and eager to learn.
  6. Technical knowledge and deep analytical skills.
