The moment guests step into our outlets, they enter a genuinely memorable experience.As Food & Beverage Operations Manager you’ll fully support the Director of Operations, managing the daily aspects of the Restaurant, Bars, Room Service and Banqueting. You’ll also create a warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in our InterContinental Rome Ambasciatori Palace.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Ensure staff is properly trained and has the tools and equipment to carry out job duties

Manage day-to-day staffingneeds, plan and assign work.Mentoring, coaching and regular performance appraisal, providing feedback to improve productivity andteam member performance

Ensuringthatyourteam deliversgreatservice, professional attention and personal recognition

Respond appropriately to guest complaints, solicit feedback and build relationships to drive continuous improvement in guest satisfaction

Conduct routine inspections of the departments and take immediate action to correct any deficiencies

Develop plans to implement upselling philosophy throw specific staff training

Scheduling staff shifts and managing other HR-related tasks

Coordinate daily Front and Back of the House operations

Deliver Luxury service and improve customer satisfaction

Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints

Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations

Control operational costs and identify measures to reduce waste

Create detailed weekly, monthly, and yearly reports for revenues and expenses

Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events

Conduct monthly stock take & breakage analysis

Create customized beverage offers for Events & Banquets

Perform other duties as assigned

Working closely with the finance team to set, monitor and refine budgets and drive revenue

Reporting to the Director of Operations


[requirements]
  • Preferred working experience in similar roles in International Luxury Hotel Brands

Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification/equivalent in Hotel Management/ Business Administration, plus 3 years of proven Manager position experience

Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff

Senior knowledge of Symphony PMS and Restaurant reservation system

Problem-solving with strong verbal communication and good listening skills, for effective and pleasant interactions with guests and staff

Customer service experience

Strong leadership, motivational and people skills

Knowledge of hotel operations and local activities

Must be fluent in English & Italian language, other languages preferred

Emotional intelligence skills, flexibility

Passion for the hospitality field and excellence in luxury service

Dedication to creating memorable experiences for our guests

Financial acumen skills
