Descrizione del lavoro

Alkeria is seeking a motivated, talented FPGA Designer interested in working on image processing applications and joining a fast-growing company at our Pisa (Italy) headquarters.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  • VHDL design of hi-speed / hi-bandwidth FPGA image processing modules
  • design of extensive test benches for module validation
  • module-level and system-level simulation and verification
  • on-board debugging through JTAG, Logic State Analyzer and lab instrumentation
  • tight cooperation with hardware and firmware teams

Required Skills

  • master's degree in Electronic Engineering or Embedded Computing Systems
  • proven knowledge of FPGA design languages and tools
  • knowledge of methods for timing analysis in digital circuits
  • knowledge of common communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, …)

Appreciated Skills

  • knowledge of high-speed data interfaces (LVDS, etc.)
  • knowledge of at least one of C++ / C# / Python programming languages
  • previous experience with a software versioning system such as GIT or SVN

Target Products

  • standard cameras and custom cameras for Machine Vision applications
  • high-performance equipment for in-line manufacturing defect detection
