Our Mission Madrigal is an AI-native investment bank reimagining how deals get done. We combine transaction expertise with agentic AI to originate, underwrite, and execute transactions with greater speed, transparency, and compliance. Our platform orchestrates sourcing, diligence, and distribution—so we can close deals faster. We launched at the end of 2024. In less than a year we launched over 10+ sell-sides and exited two deals – and we are just getting started.

The Role

We’re hiring a Founding Tech Lead to turn our product vision into a category-defining deal platform. You’ll own the technology strategy and build the systems that power AI-assisted origination, workflow automation, and execution at scale.

What You’ll Do

Technology Strategy :

Define a pragmatic, defensible roadmap across data, AI / ML, and application layers aligned to our commercial milestones.

Platform & Product :

Lead end-to-end delivery of our platform : CRM & pipeline, execution workflows, analytics, and secure data exchange.

AI Systems :

Productionize agentic workflows for sourcing and execution targeting measurable lifts in speed, quality, and compliance.

Team Building :

Hire, mentor, and retain a high-performing engineering and data team.

Cross-Functional Partnering :

Work closely with the advisors to ship the right things in the right order.

Budget & Vendor Management :

Make smart build-vs-buy calls; manage spend and vendor relationships.

Hands-on experience operationalizing AI / ML (LLMs, retrieval, agents, evaluation / guardrails) in production.

Product sense and bias to execution — able to turn fuzzy needs into shipped value quickly. Clear, structured communicator who partners well across technical and commercial functions.

Nice to Have

Exposure to finance or fintech infrastructure.
