The Warehouse Worker loads and unloads outgoing and incoming delivery vehicles. He / She selects products from the warehouse, loads and secures goods to pallets, moves inventory to the delivery area, and loads merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and safety of the work environment
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Accepting delivery of inventory
• Counting and confirming inventory
• Inspecting inventory for damage and faults
• Communicating errors to relevant parties
• Marking and labeling stock
• Storing inventory in an accessible manner
• Loading and wrapping stock on pallets
• Building loads with forklift and electronic pallet jack
• Locating and moving stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
• Transporting raw materials to production workstations
• Inspecting machinery to determine the need for repairs and performing regular maintenance to guarantee safety
• Helping maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities

Requirements

• Work experience as a general laborer, preferably in a warehouse
• Ability to operate forklift proficiently
• Available to work extended hours
• Compliance with company policies and legal guidelines
• Ability to follow instructions and operate in an orderly manner
• Hard-working, focused, with outstanding problem-solving skills (preferred)
