Job Description

I. Position Purpose

To safely and efficiently operate all machinery and equipment associated with the CSS operation. To ensure the quality of all finished goods produced on assigned lines. To accurately complete and/or enter electronically all required safety, quality, and manufacturing control documents and information.

II. Position Responsibilities & Duties

Operators will be open to rotating between all positions within the CSS operation. The following list of responsibilities and duties is not all-inclusive and is intended to provide the general responsibilities, duties, and expectations of the job. Responsibilities and duties may vary based on manufacturing processes and needs.

A. Workplace Safety

B. Food Safety & Quality

C. Packaging Machinery and Equipment Operations

D. Machinery and Equipment Operation: Know, understand, and operate machinery within established safety, quality, and production guidelines and SOPs.

E. Sanitation

F. Record Keeping/Production Scheduling

III. Working Conditions

This position requires 100% of time to be spent in the production area. Must be able to lift 50 lbs routinely. Standing for long periods and repetitive motions may be required. PPE is mandatory, and hearing protection is required at all times.

Related experience in machinery and equipment operation is a plus. Successful completion of skills testing and mechanical aptitude testing is required. Good communication, computer, math skills, attention to detail, analyzing, planning, and troubleshooting abilities are essential.

Shift: 3rd shift from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am, Monday through Friday, with weekends as needed. Schedule times are subject to change.
