We are looking for our Ortea Palace Hotel, Sicily - Autograph Collection for a pleasant and organized Food&Beverage Manager to join our team!

As a F&B Manager, you will be responsibile for all the F&B department operations.

As the front-line-employee, your role will be extremely important for improving customer experience and satisfaction. Your goal should always be to make guests and visitors feel comfortable and satisfied while in our office.

Job Summary

Food and beverage managers plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operations of restaurants, bars, cafeterias and other businesses that operate serving food and beverage. Food and beverage managers require great customer skills but apply management skills ensuring the labour and financial goals of the organization are maintained.

Duties and Responsabilities:

  • Recruitment and training of staff
  • Organize, direct and evaluate food and beverage service
  • Shift scheduling
  • Performance management; monitor staff performance and provide feedback
  • Purchase and control of inventory
  • Monitor revenues and expenses
  • Ensure practice of health and safety regulations
  • Negotiate with clients for use of facilities for catering, parties, banquets, etc.


Requirements:

  • B2 level or above, good at oral and written English.
  • Diploma or degree in business management or tourism related field would be an asset
