Human Technopole in Milan is seeking an FM Building Management System (BMS) Specialist to support the management, maintenance and optimization of BMS across the campus.

You will work on the design, implementation and daily operation of BMS technologies, reporting to the FM Hard & Soft Services Manager. This is a permanent role based in Milan with collaboration across ICT, vendors and contractors, offering a dynamic international environment and opportunities for growth.

Competenze

• Minimum 3 years of experience in BMS systems.
• Technical diploma is required.
• Fluent in Italian (written and spoken).
• Knowledge of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM).
• English (written and spoken) is preferred.

Mansioni

• Support management, maintenance, and optimization of BMS across the campus.
• Participate in design, implementation, and daily operation of BMS technologies.
• Collaborate with ICT team to align configurations and security protocols.
• Assist in developing multi-year BMS integration plan.

Your mission

As a FM Building Management System (BMS) Specialist, you will support the management, maintenance, and optimization of Building Management Systems (BMS) across the campus. In this role you will be working on the design, implementation, and daily operational maintenance of BMS technologies, contributing to efficiency, security, and compliance with industry regulations. You will report directly to the FM Hard & Soft Services Manager.

Human Technopole, located in Milan MIND Area and counts more than 20.000 sqm of complex building infrastructures, highly technological laboratories and services. The next stage of development will double the current size and will open multiple services to other national institutions.

Grow Your Skills

• Assisting in the management and updates of BMS systems with external specialists.
• Supporting maintenance planning, cost tracking, and technical documentation for BMS systems.
• Contributing to the development of a multi-year BMS integration plan.
• Assisting in defining BMS policies, SOPs, and system specifications.
• Supporting BIM integration in Facility Management, including updating system records and schematics.
• Collaborating with the ICT team to align framework configurations and security protocols.
• Working on BMS technologies, IoT platforms, and data analysis, following established guidelines.
• Participating in software logic verification and updates, under the supervision of internal specialists.
• Working with maintenance technicians, assisting in daily training and BMS-related tasks.
• Interacting with contractors and vendors to support BMS projects.
• Logging and following up on fault reports in the Helpdesk system.
• Contributing to BMS data analysis and energy efficiency improvements.
• Assisting in identifying and troubleshooting building system issues.
• Supporting configuration and optimization of BMS technologies.

What you'll bring

• Technical diploma.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in BMS systems.
• Familiarity with Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM).
• Fluent in Italian (written and spoken).

Preferred

• Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, or related field).
• Knowledge of ICT frameworks and security standards management.
• Experience with BIM in Facility Management.
• Knowledge of SIEMENS, Schneider, Trend, or ISMA BMS systems.
• Previous experience in research/hospital/university environments.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

Salary: up to € 50k depending on the candidate’ seniority.
