Experis is looking for a Fluid System Owner for direct placement with a Top Player Client.

Mission

As a Fluid System Owner, you will contribute to challenging projects in the Avionics field, working with mathematical simulations, statistics, and data science to support strategic decision-making. You will bring new ideas and perspectives to optimize industrial processes and engineering decisions.

How your contribution will make a difference

The Fluid System Owner plays a key role in the technological development of aircraft engines, collaborating globally with industrial and academic partners to support both innovation and the evolution of existing products.

The role involves the design, integration, validation, and certification of fluidic systems and components for aerospace engine applications. These systems include: main fuel pump, metering unit, variable geometry actuators, air valves, heat exchangers, and thermal/dynamic models.

Key responsibilities:

  • Define and manage subsystem requirements based on engine and aircraft needs, and formally communicate them to design and testing teams.
  • Design fluid systems and coordinate interactions with other control disciplines (hardware, software, electrical).
  • Define the certification path in collaboration with system and certification teams.
  • Manage technical and operational communication with suppliers and procurement teams, both in design and production phases.
  • Lead the design team in preparing and presenting technical reviews, collaborating with Technical Managers.
  • Coordinate prototype development, validation/certification testing, and reporting to authorities.
  • Validate systems through analysis or experimental tests.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Aerospace)
  • Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken)
  • Basic knowledge of fluid system software (modeling, data analysis)
  • Basic knowledge of Mathworks tools (MATLAB/Simulink)
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux/Unix operating systems
  • Solid experience in Fuel System development (Aerospace)
  • Experience with suppliers and manufacturing departments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Operational autonomy and a strong sense of responsibility

Location: BARI or TORINO

What We Offer

  • Contract: Permanent position under the National Metalworkers' Collective Agreement (CCNL Metalmeccanico), starting from level B2 + performance-based bonuses; benefits as per national contract.
