Accountabilities:

1. Assess market demand and gather customer requirements to ensure satisfaction.
2. Analyze customer system specifications and decompose them into software requirements.
3. Analyze technical specifications and prepare documentation for tender bids.
4. Design architecture to fulfill client demands.
5. Understand customer experience, identify product gaps, and generate ideas to grow market share and improve customer experience.
6. Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with external partners.
7. Prepare product descriptions, convert business needs into technical specifications, and define development roadmaps.
8. Prioritize product features based on customer impact and market opportunities.
9. Work on bids to understand and address customer needs.
10. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external contacts.
11. Work efficiently in compliance with global policies and standards.

Required Skills / Knowledge:

1. Knowledge of requirements management processes and tools (e.g., IBM DOORS).
2. Understanding of vehicle and Operation Control Centre architecture.
3. Design of railway subsystems considering time, quality, and cost for tenders and projects.
4. Planning and management of budgets and product activities.
5. Technical specification writing for purchases.
6. Knowledge of communication protocols and data networks.
7. Basic understanding of protection concepts for personnel, hardware, networks, and data.
8. Strong collaboration and communication skills.
9. Attention to detail, prioritization, multitasking, and working under pressure.
10. Curiosity, positivity, creativity, and customer empathy.
11. Minimum 3 years of experience in product management or as an associate product manager.
12. Minimum 3 years of experience as an engineer or technical lead.
13. Solid technical background with hands-on experience in relevant technologies and software development.
14. Research skills for issues and products.

Preferred Skills / Knowledge:

1. Knowledge of railway standards and norms (hardware and software).
2. Understanding of bidding processes.
3. Knowledge of Mobility as a Service and Smart Mobility services.

5. Experience in Railways and Mass Transit markets.
6. Knowledge of operations management market and technologies.
7. Experience launching successful products.
8. Leadership abilities and ability to meet revenue targets.

Education / Qualifications:

University degree (MS) in Computer Science, Electronic / Information Engineering, or a related technical field.

Languages:

Excellent English proficiency (written and spoken).
