To expand a team operating in the Aerospace, Defense & Security sector, we are looking for a:

Flight Control System Engineer

The ideal candidate has a degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent, with at least 1 year of experience in the role. The resource will be responsible for defining, developing, integrating, and qualifying a Fly-By-Wire (FBW) flight control system for an aircraft.

Specifically, the candidate will handle:

  1. Requirement and supply specifications definition
  2. Development of functional and behavioral system models
  3. Preparation of project documentation
  4. Evaluation and approval of technical documents
  5. Definition of testing requirements for technological demonstrators
  6. Conducting technological demonstration and qualification tests
  7. Supporting the preparation of project review meetings
  8. Preparation of qualification evidence
Technical Skills:
  • In-depth knowledge of Fly-By-Wire flight control systems
  • Knowledge of aeronautical regulations (e.g., FAA, EASA) and aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100)
  • Proficiency in automatic control principles and actuation systems
  • Experience in development and certification of actuation systems for aircraft
  • Experience in conducting tests for critical systems
  • Ability to define safety-critical system architecture
  • Experience in SYSML modeling for requirements definition
  • Ability to maintain contacts and relationships with suppliers
Additional Profile Requirements:
  • Basic knowledge of control systems and digital controller design
  • Basic knowledge of power electronics and electronic system design
  • Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
  • Functional analysis skills following MagicGrid methodology
  • Modeling and simulation with CAMEO Systems Modeler
  • Requirements management experience with IBM Rational DOORS
  • Strong teamworking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • High problem-solving ability
  • Excellent command of the English language
