A leading aviation company in Italy is seeking a Helicopter Maintenance Technician to perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on helicopters. This role requires a B1.3 license for rotary aircraft and proven aviation experience. You will work primarily with Sikorsky S76 helicopters, ensuring compliance with EASA regulations and maintaining high safety standards. This position offers a dynamic work environment at Linate Airport, Milan.

Competenze

• EASA License and B1.3 license for rotary aircraft are required.
• Proven aviation experience, preferably with corporate aircraft.
• Good knowledge of EASA regulations: Part 145, Part M, Part CAMO, Part 21.

• Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on airframes, engines, and aircraft systems.

Position Summary

The Helicopter Maintenance Technician will perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on airframes, engines, and aircraft systems. The technician will make repairs and conduct tests to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely. This position is based at Linate Airport, Milan.

Responsibilities

• Work primarily on Sikorsky S76 C++ helicopters, with opportunities to assist with fixed-wing fleet as needed.
• Perform airframe and powerplant repairs and modifications to meet company and regulatory standards.
• Remove, disassemble, and replace defective parts; test aircraft systems.
• Operate power tools and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks.
• Accurately complete maintenance records, including time reporting.
• Support company safety policies and compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Demonstrate professionalism and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• B1.3 license for rotary aircraft required (S76 Type Training provided).
• EASA License.
• Proven aviation experience, preferably with corporate aircraft.
• Good knowledge of EASA regulations: Part 145, Part M, Part CAMO, Part 21.

• Legal authorization to work in Europe and ability to travel as needed.
• Motivated, able to work under pressure and within deadlines.
• Ability to multi-task in a team environment.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and MS Office.
• Proven inspection skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, with excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Own set of hand tools preferred; specialized tooling provided.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Work Environment

Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, vibration, and extreme weather conditions. Noise levels can be loud.

Physical Demands

Regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, handle objects, reach, and occasionally sit, climb, and crouch. Must lift up to 5kg regularly and up to 22.5kg occasionally. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
